Teddington poetry events

The Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington, West London are putting on two interesting evenings this month. On Thursday 30 April former Poet Laureate, Andrew Motion, will be reading from old and new collections including The Customs House, The Cinder Path, and Peace Talks which will be published in June.
Supporting Sir Andrew, will be award-winning writer and poet, Owen O’Neill, who will be reading from his 2014 poetry volume Licking the Matchbox, which he launched at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival.
At this event there will also be an opportunity for questions from the audience and a book signing.
Following Sir Andrew Motion, we welcome Scotland’s National Poet, Liz Lochhead on Thursday 21 May.  Liz will be mixing poems and monologues with soulful music from saxophonist, Steve Kettley
Tickets can be booked for both events by calling our Box Office on 020 8977 7558 – £13 / £12 concs / £11 LAC Members
