“Last night our Bedford Group met for the first time this year and with no theme chosen for the evening we were free to enjoy those poems we love best, from the exquisite romance of Federico Garcia Lorca to the frowning Johnny by W H Auden. We meet again on March 28 with the theme of Astronomy.”
