Bedford: 28 March 2017

In Bedford last night we enjoyed a themed evening of astronomical poetry. Some readers chose the comical and light-hearted poetry of the moon and stars and then we were transported to the darker side of the stars in Coleridge’s ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ where he describes the ‘star-dogged Moon’ ad the Sun being ‘flecked with bars’. All good stuff.
