Acton: 20 May 2017

Group Name & Location:  Acton Pass On A Poem at the home of Joanna Barrett

Event Date:  Saturday 10th May 2017

Summary:

We have become much better readers at Acton Pass on a Poem, which made the evening of Saturday, May 20th a really enjoyable one.  Whether we are all more confident and relaxed in each other’s company or are rehearsing more before the event, I don’t know.  But there was clarity of communication which made the poems very accessible.

Poets chosen ranged from Pope to Jacob Polley and Margaret Atwood to W.H. Auden.

The evening was a real pleasure and our thanks go to our host, Joanna.   [Anne Sawbridge]

Date of next event: Saturday 2nd September
